It all started in our English class. We received the suggestion to build an "environmental" blog and we soon thought it would be a great idea. So here we are, discovering and writing what's on our minds, trying to change people and making them greener.
I know that there is still much time for the Summer. But, while the rain is falling and the cold is making me sick, I can think about what I'm going to do in this wonderful season. And I'm going to a summer festival, that I'm sure. I went to Rock in Rio in 2008. And one thing that I noticed (besides the fantastic environment, great music and funny people) was all the trash in the grass. The truth is that summer festivals can have a negative environmental impact on our planet. However, the organizers are trying to reduce the waste produced, the emissions of carbon dioxide and making people more aware. People that go to these festivals should really think about being green, and try to reduce their waste. I'm going to Rock in Rio this year. I'm NOT going to miss Snow Patrol, of course. And I'll try to be the greeniest I can.
One thing I have noticed is that people are no longer good to each other. I mean, is like they're always dressed in an arrogant skin, and we need to give them something in return to receive their sympathy. People can be so mean and so selfish... That's not how it's supposed to be! We should be able to get a free hug whenever we want, or to receive a peck on the forehead when we feel like... To be surrounded by the people we love, every place and anytime.
